Founded in 1992, A Way Out Ministries offers support and safety to women escaping sexual exploitation. Counseling, job skill training, and many other resources are available.

Driven by the love that Christ offers to all of us, the Maternity Housing Initiative strives to support unhoused pregnant women in finding stable housing and community. The Maternity Housing Initiative provides prenatal and postnatal care, stable housing for 1 year, counseling, classes, and regular school attendance for school-aged children.

As a faith-based, not-for-profit health care organization, ChurchHealth believes in caring for one another as we’d all like to be cared for. With services that span all ages, including the youngest among us, and that treat the whole person, ChurchHealth enables more Memphians to live fully. Today, with the support of partners, volunteers, and donors, ChurchHealth conducts an average of 60,000 patient visits annually in Memphis and serves as a model for countless communities nationwide.

Emmanuel Academy (After-School Program)

Emmanuel Academy provides enriching after-school educational and recreational programming, including tutoring, mentoring, homework assistance, physical activity, and spiritual development. These programs give students a safe and supportive space once the school day ends.

Operates August–May

Monday–Thursday, 3:00 p.m. –6:00 p.m.

Serves students ages 5–17 (must be enrolled in school)

The Emmanuel Center supports children and their families in South City Memphis by offering after-school and summer programs that inspire spiritual, physical, and educational growth. All Emmanuel Center programs are offered at no cost to families and include tutoring, academic assistance, physical activities, sports, and family support.

This event is designed for all ability levels. There will be a short lesson before every dance so that beginners and advanced dancers can all get into the groove!
